Just Be Updates…
Developing the Just Be series has been an interesting process. We’re really enjoying creating the art, digitizing, testing, and sharing this series with you all. We really hope you’re finding something in the series to connect with. We want to let you know that we’re stretching our next release date just a bit to July 9th to avoid the holiday travel and festivities of a mid-week 4th of July. Work or Summer Fun? That is the Question…
Growing a business can get exhausting, and I’m the worst about putting work first if no events are actually scheduled. When I expanded my embroidery business into digitizing I thought it would be like adding a product… the biggest obstacle in my mind was building out a design catalog. It’s really like I work two jobs though even before I consider all of the web site upkeep and social platforms. In my “down time” I’m still at work on social media posts by phone or digitizing by laptop just trying to keep things growing. (It really drives my technophobe hubby crazy at times… but mostly he tolerates it with just…

Social Media… Learning How To Work It Right
You know that feeling when you have too many choices and you know you could handle one or two but you’ve only narrowed it down to four or five… That’s how it feels with me and social media. I must say that even with a marketing background and years in retail and customer service, the switch to navigating social media and gaining traction there is HARD! Happy to See Spring 2018
March has been a crazy month… Actually I think it’s been a crazy start to the year. We went from 3 machines to 4 when we bought our new 10-needle, back to 3 then immediately down to 2 because the day after we sold our original 6-needle another machine went down. Now we’re at 52 days and counting without it. #smh 🤦🏻♀️ We adapted and made it through our busy stitching season. (Happy Easter!) Things are fine and we WILL eventually hammer out the repairs and we’ll get back to normal. Until then our digitizing schedule has gotten a little off. Even so we had some great designs come out…

A Few of My Favorite Things…
I think it’s time for you to meet my iron… another of my favorite things. Everyone, this is my iron, well one like it…. it sounds like I’ve named it, but I haven’t. I have too much going on in my business to keep up with names of real people sometimes, much less inanimate objects. This iron is absolutely one of the best decisions I’ve made for an everyday tool since getting into applique! Our membership plans have gone live! Check them out… Three plans are currently listed allowing you to set your own pace and have a variety of designs ready to go for your shop or craft room. We continually add designs to keep selections varied. Expect a minimum of 20 new designs/alphabets to be added each month. A perk for Unlimited 2018 members is that they actually get to request some of the upcoming designs. Most of our designs are meant to be merged for your own ideas and creative layouts. A Few of My Favorite Things
Let’s start something new…. I want to share a few of my favorite things with you all, so here goes. These things, supplies, ideas come from almost 15 years of embroidery (yes, it’s almost 15 years of Sew Creative Embroidery… mind-blowing!!!), and even from the many years of sewing before embroidery. I think the first should be my scissors… These are such tiny little things that make a world of difference. My first pair of excellent scissors came with my home embroidery/sewing machine by Kenmore.
